WHO ARE THE EXPERTS?
Why do we do this? Aren't there enough goalie experts out there? Well....no. The Central Scouting Bureau for the NHL has a Goalie Checklist. Right there on the front page it asks if the goalie "consistently squares to the puck carrier." Really? How about squaring to the puck? Colby Drost goes to Niagara
Drost was a goalie we watched at last year's Summer Showcase ('10) and garnered some attention around the time of the NHL Draft (his name wasn't called). Now he has committed to Niagara for this season and by our estimation projects as a solid D1 goalie. He will battle with sophomore Cody Campbell for playing time.
